But it should be noted that for step punches, in order to ensure that the punches have sufficient rigidity, the smaller punches should be made shorter, and the larger ones should be longer. Otherwise, the material will squeeze a small punch when punching a large hole, and the small punch will be broken due to insufficient rigidity. (2) Continuous die try to add stopper, side edge and other step positioning devices. When using continuous die to stamp the workpiece, it is necessary to solve the problem of accurate positioning of the strip and ensure that the step distance of the continuous die is consistent. Only then can it be possible to punch out qualified parts. In continuous molds, the commonly used positioning devices have several forms such as fixed stop pins, guide pins, guide plates, and side blades. When stamping, first use the fixed stop pin for preliminary positioning, and use the guide pin installed in the mold to ensure the correct positioning of the strip when blanking. The side edge is used to control the feeding distance of each step. The length of the side edge should be equal to the step length plus 0.05-0.5mm, depending on the thickness of the material.
